Tanja Hendriks

Tanja Hendriks is a PhD student at the Centre of African Studies (CAS), University of Edinburgh. Her PhD, which focuses on disaster governance in Malawi, is part of the EU-funded programme for the Anthropology of Human Security in Africa (ANTHUSIA). Before joining CAS and ANTHUSIA, Tanja worked as a junior researcher at the African Studies Centre Leiden (ASCL), an interfaculty institute of Leiden University in the Netherlands. She has a background in anthropology, international development studies and African studies.
