Tycho van der Hoog

Tycho van der Hoog is a PhD student at the African Studies Centre Leiden (ASCL), an interfaculty institute of Leiden University. His book Monuments of power: The North Korean origin of nationalist heritage in Namibia and Zimbabwe has been recently published by the ASCL. His book Breweries, politics and identity: The history behind Namibia’s beer will be published by Basler Afrika Bibliographien in October 2019.
