A stellar line-up of films has been announced for the 11th European Film Festival in South Africa which runs from 10 to 20 October. Including two Oscar nominations, the select showcase of 14 films features numerous award winners that delve into a wide range of topics under the overarching theme of "Complicated Freedoms".

De 21e editie van Afrovibes Festival is van 2 tot en met 13 oktober 2024. Het festival vindt plaats in Amsterdam, Utrecht en Rotterdam en laat dit jaar de veelzijdigheid zien van makers uit Noord-Afrika en de (Noord)Afrikaanse diaspora in Nederland. Afrovibes brengt een vernieuwend en gedurfd programma vol theater, dans, muziek en spoken word rondom het thema Belonging met voorstellingen uit onder andere Marokko, Zuid-Afrika, Ivoorkust, Tunesië, Egypte en Nederland.
